the cam should best fit your intentions with the car. being t hat you want to drive the car as well as lay some strips, i would go with dual pattern. comp cams Xtreme energy cams do a good job of combining the two. i installed the one closest to the RA IV cam and have no problem on the street and can still hang with the ls1 boys. also what tranny and gears are you running? they also make a difference. with a M/T a single pattern would do best do to the wide range of RPM's used. but check out comp cams.
