F.Y.I....there is a new valvetrain stud-girdle kit recently introduced that maybe of interest to some. It is made by Ultradyne (601-349-4447) for Pontiac V-8's, stock and Edelbrock heads. The stud-girdle has a user-friendly design for setting valve lash, with a five-bar setup that ties a pair of studs together for less stress on the rocker studs and easier adjustment of valves. The kit includes six-point hardened chrome-moly steel polylocks, springs, and other necessary hardware.
