Thanks to Greg Miller (gem66) for posting two video clips of my 64 GTO at his web site. The address is
http://www.fastcarvids.com/

I will give the address to my granddaughter. The boys at her middle school don't believe her granddad has a GTO, and it is not running now, as the engine is out of it. As soon as it is I will take her to school in it.

Jim,
I just downloaded and watched the videos with my 5-year-old. I think it's in his blood already! You should have seen him smile when you blew away that Mustang! It only took a few minutes to download on a 56k modem. I used the windows media player. Good sound, too. Thanks for sending them in.

Kurt - You watched the clip of the racecar. Go down one more in the list and there are two clips of my street car. If it doesn't show, hit the refresh button while on the page with the list of videos. That is what I had to do.

OMT and Mark - I love your videos. Mark, I chuckle every time that I hear your friend who video taped it at the end. He says it all. Both of you have real nice cars. Later,

Phil

Thanks guys. That was my son. We had been working all day to get in the 10's and that was the first one. Like being a virgin. My next try was even better on all the different readings down the track (330, 660 etc times) but my thumb slipped off the nitrous button as I hit third and went from there through the traps without it. Still got a 11.1 @ 116. Then they threw me off the track. I needed a 5 point harness and a fire jacket. I have 'em now He He HE. Going to better those times this year. Thanks again Mark L

OMT

I have to thank you for the video. I just wanted you to know that after I downloaded it my son demanded to watch the clip probably 15 times or more. Oh, BTW my son is not quite 2 yrs old yet. I once even caught him playing of our computer trying to watch your video again...

Believe it or not, OMT, your video seemed to make my son's morning. I just thought that you should know.

Zig'sbird - It is wonderful to bring a smile to a child's face. My 4 year old granddaughter got to watch me race yesterday, and so did my 3 year old grand nephew. He will be 3 on April 7, and the theme for his birthday is racing. So they brought him to the track to get pictures of him in my car. He was quite frightened of the loud cars, but I heard he was talking about it his visit the rest of the day. It is great to see the world through a child’s eyes. Thanks for you input.

OMT, and Mark, I finally got a video of my car running. Its not very good, but I did beat a 1500 pound import. My car runs out of steam at 4000RPM, so I have some work to do. Any Advice??? you can see my specs at the web site www.fastcarvids.com.
