Yes My car was the very first one build. I wrote the rules for the GT class in the early 80's and sumitted them to NHRA and as they say the rest is history.

brian- i'll send you some pics of my engine on thursday...i don't think i have any of it in the car yet.
heck, it's rained here so much lately the car hasn't run in almost 3 weeks. they're calling for a 70% chance again this friday. on the upside, these recent rainouts have greatly increased my tolerance for alcohol consumption.
