the shop that did my engine suggested I go 3" frm the collectors to flowmasters and and then turndowns before the rear axle. will this help my performance? Will this be loud, i was thining 40 series.

I run a set of Super Comps down into torque techs famous 3" sewer pipes and they are "muffled" by a pair of Dynomax race magnum bullets with turn downs and it is one loud SOB, but it sure does run, and that my friends is why I say that I need that $3500 sound system.
 You can hear me over a mile away when I'm running it hard. Cops don't like the set up too much, when I stop for them. They tell me to "put some mufflers on that thing" and I tell them that they are there and if they would like to crawl under the car and check it out to go right ahead.
