Guy I think he was asking you.
I got my Eibach coil springs in the mail Sat. Very nice, can't wait to see the 68 together and restored. Also my Rhoads lifters came...very nice stuff. |

I will check the B/S & get back to you. I think the box had the B/S in "MM". I'll be back!

...OK Guys, I just called my tire jobber, and the B/S for BOTH 17" x 7" & 17" x 8" = 4.0", Hope this helps.
PS: In the pic of my car, the frt tires were way underinflated, so they dont look so "low-profile" |

Hey guys, are the polished wheels the best way to go? I have a 69 gto with no mods. I am trying to figure out which size wheels & tires to get and does size make a difference? After seening the wheels on the silver gto( I think its silver),The II's are my choice. What is the back spacing that I need to look for? Thanks

oops. I want to put 17x7 front and 17x8 back.
What back spacing works? what tire size? I'd like to stay with 26.5 or shorter on the height... And last who has the best price on tire/wheel packages? Thank you |

I like to have custom wheels to switch back and forth depending on show...I really like the look too.

Here's 3 pics of my progress.
The first is the stock 14" Rally wheels and suspension. The second is 17" Billet Rally wheels and stock suspension with air bags in the rear (20psi). The third is 17" Billet Rally's with 2" lower front springs from OPG part#G990051, stock rear springs, and airbags with almost no air at all. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...r/eb527c56.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...Pontiac002.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...r/40b2a072.jpg I was surprised how much lowering the front transfered the weight and had alot to do with the rear end height. |

Tiller nice stance on the 3rd picture...nice color on the car! What are the offsets on your wheels...most rims I'm looking at are at 4" to 4-1/2". And what size are the tires? I have no room to go taller than 26.5" on the front, should stay around 25" tall in the back to keep my 3:73 ratio.

They are 17x8, 4.5" backspace with 225/50-17 tires front. 17x10, 5' backspace with 275/40-17 rear. I like 'em!
