Was given a 57,000 original mile 73 Lemans last night. Going to put the motor in my 81 Formula, not because its a great motor, but because its better than the 301T motor that is sitting there now, and, of course, its free.
Anywho, since I'll need to change the exhaust manifolds, I was thinking of buying a set of the "HO" manifolds. Anyone know which year manifolds will fit that chassis? There must be someone out there who has done this before..... |

The 70 F-body RAIII repops will fit fine. You didn't say but I guessed it was a D port motor. If not you will need a set of 71/72 455 HO's...

Thanks Dave. It is a D-port motor.

I used the RA Restoration D ports on the 78 motor I dropped ion my 81 TA and they fit fine. Thye are almost as hard to put on in the car as headers though. The long bolts have to be in the manifolds when you drop them down.
