Hey, I'm putting in a new dash in my 70 GTO. But now the glove box door looks gray. Can I do something other than paint it black with vinyl paint?

Try some paint formulated for vinyl. Spray it on with just a few very light coats. Perhaps you can get an old plastic part to practice on first.

I just did as the guy above said. Make sure the paint is for vynal and be take your time. Let it dry good for each coat.
