Seems a little overpriced to me. $600-800 seems to be the going rate for decent ones.
I see its in Lincoln, NE ... wouldn't surprise me if the seller is the infamous Dave Hall. When he's buying something from you its not worth dirt but when he's selling something its the price of gold!

Just echoing Dennis. Should be no more than $800 tops. For $1K it better be unused NOS parts in the original packaging.

Good ol' Ebay is driving the prices way up. It is great if you have stuff to sell, but not so great if you are restoring a car and need parts

I paid $800 for a fully functional '71 shaker a couple of months ago. Scoop was perfect, but in primer. The scoop on my '70 is in prefect shape, but is missing the flapper and the solenoids. The real reason I bought the '71 scoop was for the dual-snorkel base. I am putting a RA IV in my '70 and wanted it to at least look correct.
