My PHS docs say that my GP came with pinstriping and I'm looking for a closeup shot to determine placement and exact thickness so I can reproduce on the car.
I've searched online, and all my factory 67 brochures don't show the stripes. Does anyone have any pictures I can use for a guide? Thanks! Dave |

Dave, accent stripes was a manditory option (standard equipment) on the '67 A-body Sprint, GTO and B-body GP. These accent stripes were also deletable. My brother has a PHS documented '67 GP convert with accent stripe delete. The GP stripes looked similar to the GTO's stripes. The narrow stripe was over the wide stripe, but the GP stripe came to a point at the front and rear. Here are a couple of pics from the '67 sales manual.

Dave,
I have owned 5 GPs, and only 1 has actually had the stripes still on it. I have a door still around from that car, so I can get some dimensions and some pictures. I know it follows the primary upper body line as in the pictures above that Rick posted.

Thanks guys! I really appreciate your help.
The only reason I want to put them on there is because the PHS docs say it came with them, but on the other hand the car didn't come with the vacuum gauge and 8-track so maybe I'm spinning my wheels here but putting the stripes back on? Dave |
