Here is a Kick A$$ TA for sale on EBAY. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cg...tem=425714180&
The guy is claiming that it is a special edition. I don't think it is because of the sail panel bird. It should be a sticker. Also the special editions had a gold instrument panel. But it is an awesome car. That is for sure. Eric 1978 Y88 4 speed |

Definitely nice looking, but it's not a Special Edition (and there is no claim made that it is). The ad states that SE stripes were added, and that the seller also has a gold SE for sale. The giveaway that this is not an SE though is the lack of t-tops. All 78 SE TransAms had t-tops (at least if i recall properly, correct me if i'm wrong).

You are correct, all special additions ( including the Y88 Gold Editions ) had ttops. He does state however he has a special edition 4 speed car for sale also. Might be worth an email.
