is there anyone on this site from new york?...im in brooklyn and i dont have a clue of where to get my tires mounted to my rims without them being mangled...somewhere in long island is my best bet...or even new jersey... if anyone knows of anyplace closer thats even better...thanks..

Find a place that sells and installs custom wheels. Ask if they have a rimclamp machine. That type of machine, if used propely, dosent put any stress on wheel when mounting tire or breaking bead.

Hi Rob, try going to 60th St. around 20th ave.
There is a small tire shop on the corner.Several years ago he mounted tires on my restored rally rims without a scratch.He has the right machine, but ask him first anyway. You might also swing by Nunzi's shop and ask him. |

thanks guys...i was gonna give nunzi a call tomorrow...see where he gets his stuff done...if not...ill give s&k speed in long island a call...
