Actually..by bad..he replaced it with a Gutsram 2X4, had to re-drill the heads and such. Hope it pays off for him. We replaced a Warrior with this one.

Jegstek --- Since I have had problems with this in the past I thought I would mention this -- Have you checked to see if you are getting full throttle? From the angle of the picture and the location of the cable attachment it would appear that the throttle cable would be pulled tight befor the carb is fully open -- just something to check.

Your right Brian, its not the original, I believe the B&M car had a mishap at FOMOSO raceway in 96 (?)and was "rebuilt" to its present condition. These cars are still capable of running 200 to 225. Most of them are not actively race, only exhibition runs. A few are running NE1 (GoodGuys) and are doing well.
No one wants this to happen to bit of drag racing history. Brendan Murry at this years MM at FOMOSO

If you were wondering, that's what a dom. style victor intake looks like with a 2" adapter to run a demon. Ridiculously high I know, I bought a dominator and hope to get a dude scoop eventually.

Here is my ride in the pits at Sacramento this weekend. "The Thumper" has 52 passes on it now. It went a best of 11.17 @ 120.3 on Sat. After fattening the primaries Sun morning, it was running consistantly, 11.33, 11.33,11.32, until the second round. I dont know why, but it ran like a two stroke "on the pipe" and broke-out 11.23 0n a 11.33 dial.
