Seeing all this about using rhino on the underbody sounds nice.Good idea....you guys should see how i done the inside of the GTO hood i'll be using.I had to fix a lil rust inside the hood and then once the repair was done...i sprayed the underside of my hood with...GET THIS...this "STONE" appearance spray i bought at Lowes for doing lamp bodys and such. You'd have to see it to believe it...it looks like trunk splatter and is ROCK HARD...i love it..may use it to do my trunk..if not the RHINO!

Stu - thanks for the pics! shows me exactly what I am up against! I just wish I had that handy little rotisary that you have there!
My brother is restoring a 57 Chevy 2 dr, and I have talked him into doing the same. He said there is a bedliner kit available at Walmart... I will be looking to get mine done so that the paint can be tinted the color of my car. thanks again!

md1,
I tinted the BL to get the undercoat black colour, I'm not sure if I'm going to spatter the trunk or leave it black (body colour). Good luck with your projects. Too bad that Wisconsin is so far, I'm not using the rotisserie anymore; I just finished the mock-up - I'll be shooting colour soon! 63pig, Looks like we've got the rain you wanted. I can't believe you've got 3 other Goats to ride with, I hafta hang with the Buick guys down here:-( Wanna know what kind of denture adhesive is best for power-shifting your Stage 1? I know. Stu |

Stu:
I've got a mother, three brothers and two sisters living in dartmouth, which gives me plenty of reason to run across you this summer with the 69 goat...I can't have you hanging around with Buick guys all summer...are there any show and shines or cruises coming up in Halifax May 24 weekend or around Father's Day? |

From what I understand, you can. It requires scuffing, an etching primer and then paint...of course this is probably better answered by a pro-body person...
