Does anyone know the factory color(s) for the AC, alternator and power steering brackets for 72?
It seems like it should be either 60% black or gray-ish.... Dan

Hey Dan:
Back in the old days when i wasn't so concerned about originality, I used plain black engine paint (NOT header paint - too flat) for all my brackets - fairly high gloss. I believe the gloss should less than the engine paint - anyone else? Later, Lloyd

Dan,
I've used Eastwood's 'Underhood Black' on my brackets. It appears to be close in the gloss factor. They can be reached at www.eastwoodcompany.com [ June 04, 2002, 11:02 AM: Message edited by: goathead68 ] |
