Sorry, I have had one heckuva 2005 so far. I have not forgotten about you. I looked for the window cranks you wanted, no luck. I will ship the other two pieces we discussed on Saturday. Thought I would contact you this way, if your email gets as full as mine does, you may delete an unexpected email. Joe.

P.S. Parts are going to your address in POCI roster unless you say otherwise.

Which parts are we talking about, it has all become a bit of a blur, lol. I was able to score a set of vent cranks, seat tracks, a temp sending unit, and a pair of the plastic trim pieces that allow access into the GP's front turn signals. (Many, many thanks to the folks here!)

Still need a decent vacuum canister, the muffler mounts, and a stock, clean set of resonators and the band hanger clamps for them. I also saw a picture of a '67 400 engine. It had the oval nosed air cleaner, I have two with the round nose on them. If the oval nosed unit is correct I'd love to get my hands on one of those.

Thanks,
-harry

It was a glove box door and a plastic panel for parking light access. They're packed up now, so make someone elses day with that part.
I just checked my air cleaners, both of mine are round nosed

Harry,

The "round nosed" cleaner is for the AFB carb'd engines, and the "oval" nose cleaner is for the Q-jet carb'd engines. If you have come across an oval nose cleaner for a '67, I would be interested in it. I have Q-jets on all my '67s.

Jim,

Thanks, that clears matters up for me, I have an AFB so the round nosed cleaner it is.

Best regards,
-harry

Joe,

Got the package, many thanks!

If anyone with a '67 GP needs one of the block off plates that allows access to the light bulb on the front turn signal, let me know.

-harry

PS: Joe, drop me aline and let me know what I can send you!

The GP is still in storage a hundred miles away, so I can't confirm the part no. I'd like to buy that cover from you anyway. Let's do email.

The part was a freebe from another PY member, just send me your email address and I will mail it to you the same way. If you have something you don't need pass it along to someone else!

Drop me a line at hspluta@comcast.net
