I have a 64 Catalina convertible that is in good condition except one minor problem. The chassis is badly rusted out, cracking in some spots. the body is in good condition and I would like to keep it, but I have been told not to bother due to the slim chance of finding a chassis in good condition. Any suggestions?

Take it to a welder and see if he can do some repairs on it until you can find another frame. Maybe he can put it back in pretty good shape where as you wont need another frame. Get a written estimate before beginning work.
