I have a 75 T/A with a 400. It has a ST10 4 speed, 3.08 posi. 4x 7H heads,(98 cc), I want to put an Eagle stroker kit in it. It is an early 75 with a 74 block and 73 heads. I did all the date coding. This will not be run on the strip, as there is none within 400 miles,(I live just outside Elko NV). I just want a strong combo. My question i guess is what type of cam to to get. I have read a lot of postings on the stroker issue, and some say the Summit 2801 or the 2802. I plan to have the heads ported to about 230 cfm, if possible. Where I live is 5600' elev. are there things I need to consider with this high elev? The car will stay here as long as I have it, but re-sale is a possibility. I am going to use a Torker manifold and a 800 cfm Q-jet. I want a good lope on the idle. If there is some info I have left out, tell me. I have learned a lot from these boards and I thank you.

Mr P-Body recommended the Comp Cams XE274H for my street only stroker engine (389 to 447) but basically the same as the (400 to 461), but I have KRE street ported heads etc. and am much lower than 5,800 ft altitude! The 274H is a great cam and exactly what I was looking for. Here's the post on my engine etc.
