I have the oppurtunity to buy two 67 lemans for 1000, they have been outside in a junkyard for about 20 years, they are pretty run down but are complete with buckets and console decent chrome and all. They arent wrecked or anything just run down, I am sure they would need floorpans and stuff. They have 326's. Is 1000 dollars too much? Shguld I buy them.

Things to look for are:
-Do either or both cars have factory air? -Options such as rear defog, AM/FM,rally gauges, etc? -How is the sheetmetal? Fenders rusted through? Quarters good? Tailight bezels? -Are the dash pads cracked? -Disk brakes? Power Steering? -LeMans grilles? - Good condition? No cracks? Bottom line is why do you want to buy them? Is it to restore and sell or do you want to buy for parts? I live in Greer. Are these cars in Seneca or closer to Greenville? I would be glad to meet you and look them over together if you want. You can call me at work during the day: 1-800-845-2009 ext 5206 Good luck, Bob ------------------ Bob Kazian Greer, SC bobgoat67@aol.com |
