I've been to all the parts stores in town, looked on the internet, and through all my catalogs. I need the vacuum "splitter" that threads into the back of my Edlebrock 1406 carb. It splits to the transmition, brake booster, and into the firewall (vent control?). It's brass and the threads to transmition vacuum line are stripped. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's a '67 Tempest w/a 400 and a th350 tranny.

OK, for the real question. Is it possible to change the aluminum vacuum line to the tranny to a rubber one?

Also, If someone with a similar tranny/carb setup can post pics of the linkage/throttle cable setup that would be great. I have a feeling that the guy who put this stuff on my car did it wrong and I need to see the correct way so I can fix it.

You can change lines, just make sure there are no cracks in it and the ends are sealed nice and tight. You will have to check it more frequently for damage, as I'm sure you already know, rubber damages easier than steel.
