This may be stupid question,but i would rather find out now then later..When you patch holes in the floor , do lay the patch on the interior side of the floor or undercarriage. I was going to lay the patch on the interior side and fill the bottom with a filler ,to create a smooth surface?

I would lay it on the inside and weld into place from both sides. I don't know if bondo will stay if there is any flexing in the area. I would treat it with a rust preventer and undercoating.

Cut it ALL out and weld in new metal.

Welding would be the preferred method, but if it isn't an option you may consider gluing a replacement pan in. It's very easy. There are many threads on the board to find out more.....

Any more info I would like to know too, the 66 is going to need floors and trunk work!
