You basically have 4 options.
Get the bezel re-worked by Just Dashes for about $400.00. Get it just re-chromed by a plastic plating shop for about $250.00 and do the rest yourself. Try the chrome paint from Alclad, which works very well if you are good with an airbrush. Use a Testors silver paint pen, which works on for the gauge surrounds, but not very good for the large area along the top and sides. Good Luck! |

There is or was a place called Performance Restorations that did bezel restorations. About 2 or 3 months ago I saw some of their work listed on Ebay. Guys name was Darrell Roach. I did a search on Google (Darrell Roach restorations) and found his personal web page and a link to Performance Restorations, but the link was dead.
Maybe the moderators can move this thread over to the body shop, more people with knowledge of this kind of stuff will see it.

69 dash pod by mr g's is about $100.
the 68 is considerably more money. |
