My car runs 7.60's without tunning the carb. All I won't is to run in the 7.30's.
changing to a 10in converter and 3.73 gear would kill my street ability. so how long would my ehead forged piston engine, would last with a 75 to 100 hp shot. |

About ten seconds...
Seriously, who can say. It should last a good long time if you do all the right things, like ensure more than adequate fuel supply, retard the timing a little, and never, ever run lean. ---------------------------- '72 Formula 400 '73 Firebird 400/4-speed

is that time for 1/8th mile or 1/4 mile? If you are doing 7s in the 1/4, I think your street ability is already lost.
