With the "shaker" you'll need to use the Torker II.

I like my 455 / torker II. People say, "oh, but the rpm has .x % more low end torque", but with a 455, you already have more torque than the best steet traction can handle. I think the good fit under the hood is a big factor. Mine makes a definite "waaaaahhh" sound at about 4K rpm that I really like too- bonus+.

I too like the T2. Used it on my 400, now my 428.
Shaker can be discreatly altered to use most carb/intake combos, including the RPM. SECOND AMENDMENT: AMERICA'S ORIGINAL HOMELAND SECURITY. I Misus Rash'!

Last summer I dyno tested both on a 455 with unported E heads, Crower 60919 cam, and HS 1.65 rockers. The T-II made the highest peak numbers, both torque and hp. Nearly as I can remember the highest peak hp was 505 for the T-II and 494 for the RPM.....Cliff

But, if you want to run the RPM, you can always use the Blocker High Velocity Induction System to make it fit.
