I have a 95 Bonneville supercharged and my heat is stuck on. When i press the a/c button on my heater control the display says a/c but heat still comes out. When i press the off button on my heater control the display says off but heat still comes out. The faster i go the more heat comes out at my feet. Thanx for the help.

HI...Is it manual or auto climate control? If auto is it a dual zone system??? Without more info hard to say. The only thing I can think to check (without info) is the vacuum check valve on the engine. Its a little valve with 3 ports (if memory serves) located at top rear of the trhottle body area. Look closely, they were bad about splitting/leaking...

It is auto climate control but it is not dual zone. I was messing around with it and found that when i press the off button the blower motor does shut off, but hot air still comes into the car through the floor vents when the car is moving. I can get air to come out of the floor vents and the windshield defrost vents but not the vents in the dashboard

Did You check the delay valve???? If it's ok
check to see if you have vacuum at the the hvac programmer (box on right hand bottom of dash attatched to hvac case, black vac line, I think) If thats ok, check to make sure the temp door link hasn't come loose from the actuator. Should be able to acess it by removing glove box. If all that is ok, your problem is most likely the hvac programmer assy. "mean" |

I'm sorry I have to be a smart ass here.
You could always move to Alaska See if something could have gotten in the heat box and jammed the door open. I had a heater door stick open once. found a pen in it. It must have got in through a vent before we got the car.
