Is it just me, or is this getting old? And annoying?

Rick, why don't you post your real face so I know what you look like and we can have a beer together
and discuss carburetors and Ford issues further.

Tom, just scroll up. He's sitting in the passenger side seat of the POS that Nick V posted.

Mickey Mouse says it best. The sunglasses are a bit much though.

The sun glasses are definitely not my style. You
can see his eyes! We both look the same though,
"Rooster Cogburn" build, If Rick looks like that
we could pass for brothers, but I would not be caught dead in an open roadster, A death trap for
sure. Now, before everyone Busts my chops on that
comment. (Most have ancient suspension systems,
you have poor seat belt attachments with no upper
shoulder belt provisions, no weight to work the suspension so the tires transfer all of the energy to the people, etc). I do like the coupe
cars though, Bruce. (32 to 40 cars) Tom V.

Same exact reasons why I don't like them Tom. I guess some can over look the little things, like personal safety, when they see shiney things (chrome still won't get you home). Sorry, not me.

But, I'm have no "intellectual capacity", so what do I know. LOL

You know, while were talking street rods, I would like to have someday a 39' or 40' Ford Deluxe Coupe. I would paint it Henry Fords favorite color. I would also power it via Pontiac!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I will do that. I will work on it, since I do not have a current shot of me.. And yes, I look better than the passenger in the rod in real life. I threw up a picture of Gleason because outside my hobby with Pontiacs, my other hobby is collecting Gleason memorabilia, books, movies, etc.

Let's see.... 350 Pontiacs... I know I started reading about that.... Damn, where'd it go??
Oh yeah, here it is-
A good use for the Lil Injun would be the PHR Engine Masters Challenge. I don't know the exact CI limit, but I think it's around 365. It would be neat to see some ink on a Poncho competing with the Chebby/Ferd/Mopers crowd. I'm sure all three marques are gonna have some SERIOUS hardware tallied on their respective columns.
I gotta admit, I NEVER thought I'd see anything over 350 HP from a N/A 354. Damn impressive.

IF, that was what it was. Why do I have the sinking suspicion that a Eagle stroker crank was in there? Also, I have a hard time with the statements: "all runs were made on 87 octane" and "only 150 shot, and still on 87 octane!".

How can you have a motor that powerfull, that size, AND with low compression, when the Chevy and Ford guys can't even do it? Something stinks there.

His reputation proceedes him, once again.

Not that me blowing hot air about this street rod deal matters, but, hey, why not?

1)street rod with $10,000 paint + 18" billet rims + Chevy TPI engine + 700R4 transmission + polished aluminum everything = no vision, no taste, no skinned knuckles 'cause you payed someone to do it, plus no seat time

2)street rod with teal paint & splash graphics + generic cheesy aluminum rims + Chevy 350 + Edelbrock Performer intake/carb + plus Accel HEI + plus chrome everything = even less vision, even less taste, and you might've skinned your knuckles, but it's still all wrong

3)street rod with black epoxy primer paint + steel rims with hubcaps & cheater slicks out back + Ford Flathead, Buick Nailhead, early Hemi, or, of course, Pontiac engine + no chrome or polished aluminum = now you've got it right
