I'm thinking of purchasing a new Dominator XT trailer, manufactured by Classic.
Anyone had any experience?

When I go to races, I always look at the trailers to see how they're holding up. When they get some age on them, you can tell the good from the bad by how well the aluminum panels on the side are holding up. Bad ones will look wavy, like the sides have flexed and buckled.

Ron - I have a 24' Classic Dominator. I bought it new in '99. It has been trouble free and still looks good. - Bill -

I bought a new 99 26' Terminator. I love it and it also serves as a home while at the track. The options I ordered were AC/Heat, insulated, electric tongue jack and winch, and bright SS around the rear. The only thing I would do different today if ordering a new one would be to get 6000 lb axles even though I have had no problems with the 5250 axles.

Thanks for the replies. I decided to purchase the trailer. It is the standard 28 foot Classic Dominator XT trailer with a few options such as the aluminum wheels. The trailer is in another state so I have to pick it up or have it delivered. I have to purchase a winch ASAP so my next phone call will be to Scott Esterle. I will still need a generator and awning but that can wait until 2006 when my wallet will be a little fatter.
Again, thanks for the prompt responses and opinions. It is very much appreciated.

Hey Ron,
Is this a used trailer, or did you find a line on where to get a good price on a new one? I am wanting to get an enclosed trailer one of these days. Todd |

I have a 1998 26' Dominator. It still pulls and looks great. Well built, only complaint is end door, tire flip ramp. It now showing wear/deterioration. Would buy another...
