That clears up the headrest issue I wondered about.
I've got one PHS that has them listed and another doesn't --but both cars have them. My Judge has another option not listed --benchseat insead of buckets. |

Good point on the bench seat trim code EBJ. Seems like it might would even have been a "cash-back" or "discount" option over the standard issue bucket seats. I was thinking bucket seats were standard on GTO's and Judges. Maybe it was just a no-cost difference trim selection option just like the trim color was ? I dunno ... but good point regardless.
RACERBOY : the good thing about our 70 Trans Ams is they came standard with SO MUCH deluxe type equipment included in the base price that you wouldn't know they were low optioned or no-options by looking at the dash or the drivetrain. Standard Ram Air III engine and functional shaker scoop, power disc brakes, power steering, posi rear, tach and gauges, no-cost choice of automatic or 4speed, rally wheels, rwl tires ... all standard at the base price. Seating type is a standard, no-extra-cost item. However, additional features like power operation, headrests from '66 through early '68, or reclining backs were extra-cost options. GTOs through 1971 received bucket seats as standard. Bench seats were a checklist substitution at no extra cost. For '72-'73, in the coupe (27) body style, bench seating was standard. In '74 bucket seats were extra-cost options in both body styles.

Now that we have finished with the headrest/seat problem, does anyone have anything that is weird, spec memo., a black Judge with green int. or something weird like that.
