Nothing wrong with the subs...its the CBC that is broken. You can't take a ship out of 8 years storage and expect it to function perfectly any more than you can take a car out of 8 yrs storage. The only surprising thing is that people think it is news.

Early starlight black 69 Judge. my first Pontiac purchased in early 1980. Repurchased in 2005. It's the same as it was when sold in 1983!

I've never seen the gold interior on a black car, just red or black.

built 4th week jan 69 close ratio 4 speed 390 Posi.

Just reading through the old posts in this thread......
Is it true that orbit orange wasn't introduced until later in the '70 model year???

Run of the mill - 69 Judge - Carousel Red/Parchment Buckets

Ram III/ 3 speed manual/ 3.55 HD Posi (tranny was switched to 4speed)
Console, Pwr Disc Brakes, Pwr Steering, Door edge guards, In-Dash Tach & Gauges, AM pushbutton, Front & Rear mats, Tinted W.shield

Built 2C in Baltimore - No glovebox emblem AND No GTO emblem over heater controls?

Have lots of additional options that may or may not be installed, Hide-Aways will definitely go on the car.

I have a Carousel Red w/ black vinyl roof '69 Judge. Black bucket interior. Non hideaway, hood tach, RA-III M40, 3:55 S.T.T., PS, PDB, console, RW Defroster. Arlington-built in the first week of April '69 (04A). Has the glovebox emblem but no GTO dash emblem. Does have the rear quarter stainless rocker extensions. Red/yellow/ blue stripes. Delivered new 25 miles from here and has never left the area. I am the 4th owner.

I'd like to take this Judge color survey a step farther and ask those Carousel Red owners what color their RAM AIR hood decals are. Most of the cars I see have white decals. Mine are black, probably due to mine having a black cordova top. Thoughts?

darren, good to hear from you. Been hoping to find someone with a Baltimore Judge with build near mine. Wonder why these cars didn't get any interior emblems ? The 'rule' is supposed to be GTO over heater controls for early cars, and Judge on glove door for all others - and that all either have one or the other. Might need to make another 'ammendment' to the Judge rule book.

+ Are you going to use a glove box emblem anyway just to avoid controversy ?
