I have not driven it as yet. I compared the Tiger Gold car with a friends Signet Gold car. The colors are similar, and may appear the same on a computer screen, but they are definitely different.

Andre - I have master cylinder lines from a Baer dual master to a '67 distribution block on my '65. They are from Right Stuff Detailing and don't look anything like the lines from Inline tube. They pass under the master, beneath the clutch rod and steering shaft to the distribution block. I can take pics if you want - it's a mix-and-match '65 and '67 HO brake line system recommended by T.R.S.D.

Beautiful car Andre.. I am very happy for you. One thing I noticed but wasn't sure if you fixed.. The gas tank straps should be painted black. In your pic of the gas tank, the tank is correct (natural) but your straps were natural as well. You may have already painted them, but I just wanted to let you know. Again.. I am speechless!!! WOW

Andre, that is absolutely gorgeous, and great pics too. I remember you said you were going to dye the headliner because the after market does not reproduce gold ones, How did it turn out? I am going with black for that very reason

The shop dyed in before installation. Once installed, there appeared to be a slight shadow from where the headliner was stretched to fit, so they shot it with a fog coat. If I didn't tell you it was dyed, you would never know it. The earmuffs, and visors were also dyed. That was a fairly straight forward process.

Andre - Here's my brake line setup on my '65. They are just mocked up so that I could take these pics for you, and the distribution block is not mounted to the frame yet. The front line set is '67 HO, so is the distribution block. The front-to-rear line, I believe, is '65. The lines will need a little tweaking, but it looks like it will work. They are stainless lines from Right stuff detailing.

Matt- your line setup looks like it would work if I didn't have the brake booster. which is why I think I have the situation that I have. I also used the later booster which is bigger than the '66 or 64-5 booster.

Gas tank straps were cadmium plated (bluish silver) from the factory, not black

I had previously mentioned that the muncie kept eating the plastic speedo gear. After all was said and done, it appears that Aamco put in a 3 speed drive gear which was a slightly different diameter, and kept binding on the plastic gear. Problem solved. All that is left is the wheels...

Hey folks, on Matt's previous pictures of his brakes for his 65, there looks like two pieces of trays bolted to the firewall. Are they a wire tray or a sheild or something? I have not seen these on 66-67's.
Thanks,

The hurst wheels are back from the polishers. They came out quite nice. There isn't much more to do now to wrap it up.
