For years TA owners begged all the suppliers to reproduce this very prominent part of the interior. The reason why it never did get reproduced is because it is very complicated and there are some 30 odd differences between all the years. Therefore making it a very expensive project. Also, TA's values weren't high enough to justify. Now they are. Now people have a choice to put up with the original one on the car or spend the money and get a new one.

NOS bezel
HI guys not to highjack, but someone may need it! I listed an NOS bezel for 79-81 on E-Bay no reserve starts at $199, Dave K.

Other option...
is to have your original reconditioned.....significantly cheaper and you know it fits....
