Default '69 Rear Side Marker Lamps

A '69 GP I use to have never had rear side marker lamps, just the 3 slotted reflectors. The fronts had them in the park lamp. To my knowledge, '69 was the first year for mandatory marker lamps. Did they install them on the '70's cars?

Always wondered about it. I now have a '69 GTO and yes, real front and rear marker lamps.
Carlos.

The '69 GP had reflectors in the quarter panel extensions as you mentioned, but in the '70 GP they were lighted instead of reflectors. I believe that they had these on the other '70's model GP's as well.
