Dyno virgin no longer!
Hey Gang
I had my first trip to the dyno today, Performance Dyno in Concord, NH. Very cool! Best pull was 346 hp and 417 on the torque side! And fuel curve was right on the money. Thanks Jeff! Top speed was 142 mph Here's what I have: 73 455 4 bolt mains punched .30 over Comp Cams 292AH-10 installed at 107 /Thanks Lenny! TRW pistons Scat h beam rods Stock crank .10 .10 #64 heads slight port work flow 218 intake 171 exhaust Performer RPM w/ a ShakerHO Holley 850 modified Balanced rotating assm. Nice! Jeff is a great guy isn't he. I was going to come up with Jeff to the dyno today but I could not make it. Maybe next time. He and I will soon be working on a stroker for my T/A. Can't wait. Congrats on your results!

When I got to the dyno with Lenny I heard your car running and I didn't realize why Pete was outside ti'll ran inside....WOW! your car is "LOUD"!! Your car did great! congrats! Len's 505 still has some carb issues to be resolved but despite this he still made the most HP&Tq at the wheels for a normally aspirated engine on Pete's dyno besides a one race car....HP= 536.93 Tq= 493.81 T/A John, Your a power crazed madman!...LOL... better come up before it snows Last edited by shaker455; 11-21-2005 at 05:59 PM. |
