Very cool thread! Here's my 69 as it sits today. Added the sword stripes on the hood to match the original 1969 Engineering Car. The scoops under the valence attract a lot of attention at cruise nights.

I was just considering a similar color for my convertible.
Looks nice on there. there awas a PPG 2002 T/A that had the same color I saw and fell in love with it. Will probably go back to the stock maroon in the end though. easier to touch up blend etc

Is that color Sillver Glaze by any chance? That is what I plan to use on my '67 convertible. A beautiful ride you have there!

I bought the hood many years ago from the internet. Yes, it is fiberglass.

I have been helping my buddy with his 67 firebird 400 over the last 18 months. It is a factory 400 4 speed car. We've done ALOT to the car and now it is just about finished. I took it out cruising with my wife and we stopped at the lake for a photo opportunity:

Last winter we rebuilt the original numbers matching engine with a big stroker kit from Butler, ported 670 heads and a roller cam. Its now got a 4.25" stroke eagle crank... .030 over so about 460 cubes. We estimate about 475hp and over 500 ft-lbs of torque. Its got custom dished pistons so its quite happy on 93 octane and roasts the rear tires at will. Really fun to drive!

My Autumn Bronze 68 a friend let me borrow his Vintage wheel works V45's to see how they look on the car. I still have a set of NOS rocker trim to add as well as the headrest and front door panels.

Thats a nice and rare color. Think that was a special order? Mine should have the same paint but is now black.
