Carpet Color
Could someone please tell me the original carpet color for my '69 conv? It has the correct red interior, but the present capet is black, and the carpet on the bottom of the door panels is black. Not sure if it should be black or red. Thanks.

Pontiac was known to mix and match interiors...Not to say that your's was but I've seen it on a lot of them.

One more quick one for ya - if the floor carpet is red, does this mean that the door panel carpet should be red also? Thanks. Ken Mac |

Yes, the red interiors in '69 were red throughut, including the door panel carpet.
