Default MSD OR HEI

Ok thought id ask this question here, i like msd but the price on it is about 2-300 more then a stock HEI replacement, the engine i have isnt a 400 horse power engine more around 350 so im wondering is worth it to spend that much more on MSD the HEI ?

Heres the HEI distrubtuor i was looking at from Summit.

As long as your advance curve is set up properly (how quickly the timing advances and advance limit) then I'd just go with the stock HEI.

You won't find any ignition much better than a stock HEI up to the sort of RPM a normal Pontiac will rev to.....they're a very good system.
