What woud be acceptable in a numbers matching car - I have a 67 GTO made in December, I have a correct intake dated october 66 and a correct carb of december 66 is that the norm or are they more closer in timing? IS there a rule of thumb ?

The Intake should be about two to eight weeks before build date of Car. The Carburetor should be about the same. You might be a little too close on the carb date. The cowl tag/data plate will have a build date code. The carb will also have a casting date.
