Nice car Frank! No, mine doesn't have the top...but identical otherwise! Mine can be seen somewhere earlier in this post...it is the rusty one!

Thanks,

Was that Judge on ebay a while back? I think I remember seeing it..........

I have spent a lot more time here just reading but not posting much. Have had a 69 GTO(actually 5 at the peak) since '86. Now just the Judge as the others have been sold to a guy who 'really wanted a project' but then flipped them on the 'bay.- which is where I would have sold them had I not been trying to help a fellow enthusiast out. Win some lose some.

Have you started on the resto? I've been parts collecting for almost 20 years so have just about all I need to do it right. Just need to get to it.

Later,
Frank

Frank - if you're referring to my Judge, no, it hasn't been on E-bay.

Thanks,

Scott

bulletpruf,

Thanks, I thought md1's was on ebay a year ago or so. Hadn't seen yours before for sure, though.

1969Judge,

I don't remember seeing that 4speed car for sale. Mine was on ebay in 01 or 02 and a guy in CT and I bid up to the sell price. A year later he had it for sale and hadn't even touched it. The windshield wipers will still parked halfway up the windshield as it was when he bought it. Previosly the car was in the hands of one owner from '70 'til the first ebay auction and spent its life in CA and then storage in PA from 83 til 01 or 02.

I would prefer a 4 gear car, but I also like unique-and the black vinyl top was the first Judge I'd ever seen for sale. Wasn't really looking for a car when I bought it but it came along at the right time, I guess.

Later,
Frank

It sure was! Came out of Orangeville, PA...was rescued from a salvage yard, traded, sold and then resold to me. She is pretty rough, but I'll get it back in order. I have not started restoration yet...still collecting parts. bodywise, I have most everything now to get a start on it, but want to save more $$ so that once I tear into it, I can make some progress. I gave $1800 for it almost 2 years ago now...

Mechanically, I have a A309 YZ block (still wishing for an A309 WS) and the matching 48 heads. Also got a complete 4 spd set up ready to go. Has original 3:55 rear.

Hey slowgto,
I am right in Furlong, PA and have yet to see your blue gto running around. Mine is a blue with parchment interior and white top showing 67k on the clock. Here is a picture of us on the 2005 power tour in Kentucky outside of the bowling green corvette museum.

Geeto Tiger,

Thanks for the kind words. I guess I could have posted more than just one pic the first time so here are a few more.

I like that boiling hides pic! The Torque Thrust wheels look good on your car.

Frank, my '69 Judge is an auto. Ram Air III. Carousel Red, black vinyl roof, black interior, non-hideaway. I'm still working on it slowly, the body is finished and almost ready for paint. Chassis and engine are done. I'm the 3rd owner. It was bought new 25 miles from here and the previous two owners owners are still here in my hometown. But it hasn't driven since 1976.

I'll get it finished some day, hopefully soon. My progress is currently delayed by divorce, losing my house/shop, little kids, derailed life, other priorities, etc.

Here's the '69 that I just picked up in Ohio - strong 428, TH400 (have the original 4 sp, which will be going back in soon), originally Palladium Silver with black top and black interior (just like Ram Air Dave's car below). Will be going back to original paint soon...

I got a pair of 15 X 8 Cragars and 255/60's to replace the 14 X 7's and 225/70-14's I had on the rear. I put one of the 14 X 7's / 225/70,s in the trunk as a spare. A perfect excuse to take some new pictures.........
