Default 67 Tempest quarter fit 66 GTO?

I'm looking at puchasing a 1967 Tempest quarter panel for my 66 GTO. Other than the patch panel behind the wheel opening will this work? Will the chrome at the rear fit on ok? Thanks.

the last 8 inches of a 66 and 67 rear quarter are very different by the deck lid and tail lights
