Default Moovin' sno in her GTO!

Here's traction problem for you drag radial guys. If you can make a drag radial hook on stock suspention it should be a breeze too help me hook up my wifes car. It's got 16.5 x 31 MT Sportsman Pros with Ladder bars and adj. coilovers. It's a 69 GTO at about 3800# race weight. It hooked real good this summer but is all over the place now. It's a 500HP 455 with a 400TH and 4.10's. Here's the problem. When she comes off the two step it just spins. I've tried ladder adjustments and shock adjustments but still no good. I'm down to a 3000 chip in the box and it still spins. I guess I built a torque monster!!!! Tire pressure is at 10psi cold............ about -25* cold........... Thanks in advance, Eric.

PS. I'm sort of in a rush. She's still got 40 acres to plow! So please hurry!

That's the nicest looking snow plow I have ever seen. It must get the job done quickly and in style...lol

Over here in Winnipeg the cold weather is starting to clear and figure spring is so close I can feel it. Can't wait to see some green on the ground and trees and dig my car out of the garage and do some cruising.

Nice ride for sure GTO

I call shenanigans on that one. Is it actually hooked to the car?

Would I lie to you? ......... No it isn't. Had to move it out of the shop 'cause I ran over the crank in my daily driver. So I parked it close to the plow and took these pictures. Turned out pretty good EH! 1200sq. ft. of garage and no room for the Goat! Tsk Tsk. ... Eric

Nice Car!...but don't you think you're taking this Pontiac/GMC partnership a bit far?

Finally got it to hook! Put a set of round ports in the trunk and bought some of those All Season drag radials.

You're right, it's not a race car. It's a "D" Port street car with a 9 sec time slip. Some round port race cars don't even have that. EH! LOL. ... Eric.

9's with a 45 gallon drum of nitrous in the trunk and one hell of a tail-wind.

Mystic, 9's were run when I had the 455 with #48's, solid roller, Victor and 1050 AED Dominator in it. I also had a fogger on it jetted at 200 or 250??? Car was weighed in at 3600# and I was a scant 250#+. Best on the motor through mufflers was 10.89 and on the bottle 9.89. Started breaking too many parts at that speed and weight so I bought a tube car and my wife, Sue took over at the wheel of the GTO. Now it's a pump gas 4X'ed 455 with a solid cam and 850/Torker combo running high 11's through mufflers and on street tires. ... Eric
