Default '63 Cat Ventura value?

I found a factory original red ext and int '63 Catalina Ventura 2dr hardtop. Car is pretty much totally original, driver's rear 1/4 has some very poor repair done to it and the interior needs help but over all the car is all there and in decent shape. 389 2bbl auto with no power options at all. What would this car be worth? I figure the color combo makes it worth a little more than usualy.

Dude, where you been? Don't know if the color combo helps raise the value but for a plain-jane car with the Ventura interior I'd guess around $2-3k assuming the body is solid. How's the steering wheel? Does it have a posi,? I'm guessing it has a bench seat and column shift.

I'd go a little higher, especially if it's a California or Arizona rust free car and it runs and drives reliably. Rust free meaning no rust anywhere and you can take the nuts and bolts apart pretty easily. These '63 2 door hardtops fetch $5000 - $7000 easily. Work down from there depending on the condition.

Been working my ass off and dealing with a ton of BS. Don't have time to do anything anymore which sucks. The car was bought new in Laurens SC. Its pretty damn straight besides the 1/4 panel. Looks like it was hit and repaired by someone who wasn't scared of bondo. Its got the deal where its cracked and peeling off in large chunks. Looks like someone painted the cracked bondo with spray paint. It has scaly rust on the trunk floor and the weather strip lip in the trunk is missing a section roughly 5 inches. Other than that its solid as hell. Im thinking about it.

Hey Joe, not sure where you found the 63 red cat, but I live in Laurens. If it is the same car I know about, I turned it down for $ 800.00 three months ago. Been sitting outside for about 10 years. slimjim was rebuilt, driven 2 miles and parked. check the floorboards carefully. Owner used the car to store all sorts of garbage. Trunk floor was rusty as well. Check lower front fenders as well. Good luck.
