BOP also has a horse in this race. We sent exhaust flanges and $ with the promise of headers in return. Are you for real Ron? Call me...

Maybe Ron needs a website to promote his shop and headers once the back orders are fulfilled? Something like theYman.com ? hmmmm.

**From this point forward, NO bashing, NO "he should", nothing, from anyone.**

Failure to do so, can result in a warning, and suspension of posting privileges.

If Ron owes you headers, money or anything else, you may send him a PM (and please copy me as well) with your real name, product owed and any other info you might have that is relevant. Again, no threats in the PM's either, please.

He's trying to make things right, that's a lot more than he had to do, so lets give him some time and see what happens.

I don't know Rons screen name, so I can't PM him.

I paid $729 for a set of d-port ceramic coated 67 a-body (for the Lamnas) back around Sept. of 2006.

I'm not a real private guy, so my info is:

Jim Bollinger
416 South Clark Street
Forest City, IA 50436
641-590-6486
[email protected]

I can't really use the headers anymore, (selling the car and now have round ports) so a full refund (I'll eat the interest) would be right for me.

The above contact info is the same as 2006 except for my cell phone number.

If any of the potential customers are worried about him delivering, I have an original set of Tri-Y D port auto headers (the one's made by Doug's)- they are coated w/ VHT black, never fired- that I will sell to you at whatever Ron's current price is(any shipping difference is extra). I'll sponsor someone w/ the sales money and trust Ron to deliver a new set to me.
Any takers? If so, PM me

Ok, Jim moshiers D-ports & contos20's O-port headers are now ready for shipping & emails have been sent. These took longer than I wanted only because the guy that is my welder had some personal issues that were not related to quality.

Also I spent the week trouble shooting the bender with my electrician because it was not powering up only to find that it was just a bad safety switch. So now its working fine & ready to bend again. Thats good because before I moved I bent a good amount of bends just in case something happened on set up. Im glad I did because I got all the way down to just enough for one more header & I was panicking because of that dang switch.

Im starting two more sets tomorrow & will be contacting them in the next few days.

Regardless of the past, if Ron is trying to get things going again I will buy a set for my Edelbrock heads.

Ron, Keep the faith brother

Here's my unsolicited 2 cents. Regardless of what went on in the past, he is now trying to make it right. How about we help him climb out of the hole rather then throwing dirt on him?

Fritz Cat just received his set as you can see. Nice seeing you again Fritz & nice 64'.

It was ONLY possible because of two things.

# 1 I have over the last 2-3 months spent every cent of bill money on tools that I have designed & had a local machine shop make for me. Which by the way I still owe them money & they still have a tool. Luckily its for a different header that is yet to come out.

# 2 I relocated to a lower cost & much larger location around three high ways & near large populations. So I have help now for the first time ever. Instead of being located in the boony's with nothing but flake that wont work without beer, cigs or some other drug.

# 3 MOST IMPORTANT Someone had just purchased a set.

I made sure to email pics a the build progress each day (total build time 3 days) & the same with Fritzt Cat (2 day build time). Only Fritzt actually got his pics over a week after his were built. While they were sitting in the jig waiting for a welder that wouldn't flake on me. I was going to just show up at his door without any notice, but after looking at them every day I called him & told him. Then I emailed him pics & told him he could come by & see them if he wanted to.

After the 4th welder no show I had one show up & both sets were then welded. Then I hand delivered them to Fritz because he as only 20 min from me & didn't require a box.

I have a set at the shop that the drivers side is done ( not welded ) & the pass side will be done late tomorrow or early Tue. My welder comes in on Fridays all day & one night a week at times. So by Fri it will be welded & ready for shipping.

From Fritz's posts here, I have another set sold. This set will pay for the shipping, packaging, operating costs & materials to send both sets out. This set will be done & welded on Fri. Then both sets will be shipped out by Mon morning as long as the check is there by then.

So I don't view this new sale as a new customer but as a sponsor helping to get an owed set out. This is the way it will work from this point on until I get all orders filled.

I will be going through my records & through threads on all the boards tonight to find out who this set I am working on will belong to. I will email him to let him know & send pics of the build. I will also give the name (or just screen name) of the "Sponsor" that made it possible.

Each sale will be handled the same way. If you dont like it working this way well ................. I'll deal only with the ones that are ok with it & the others last. I have said what seems like 100 different ways to def ears on these boards that working capital makes thing move. Fritz Cats set proved it. Lets get this order done so I can die in peace.

If you want to help out a fellow member get there set email me [email protected] your payment is due only at the time completed.

Good luck on your return Ron. A lesser man would have taken the easier path and walked away. Love mine and they are probably the last part I would ever sell off my car. Let's see how this all goes. I might be interested in another set sometime down the road.

WOW!

Ron, here's hoping that you can get caught up on the back-orders, and hopefully fill a bunch of new orders!

Good luck!

Glad to see you back in the game. I'm down for a set once things get cleaned up. Best fitting headers I have had.

The set I mentioned in the above post is now ready for welding. This set is Jim moshiers set. It will be welded on Fri. I sent a PM to Jim yesterday & haven't yet heard back. Thanks to contos20 for the purchase that made Jims build happen. Tomorrow I'll be working on contos20's set & hope to be ready for both sets to weld on Fri.

I have another sponsor that has stepped up & will complete another owed set & the sponsors set next week & post any details.
