Default 67 gto radiator bracket/shroud question

Im going to put one of those over the radiator shrouds on. My question is if I do so how is the radiator held firm, the bracket that holds it firm wont fit with the over the radiator shroud on.
Do I make any sense????
Thanks in advance

The factory 67 fan guard bolts over the bracket, in fact the bracket is bolted to the fan guard and the guard bolts to the radiator core support on the top. If you mean the fan shroud, the 67 factory one bolts to the core support along each side at two places, and does not go over the top like the 68 and later ones. hope that helps.

The guard goes over the upper radiator bracket.

As far as I can figure the bracket bolt to the rad support then the guard goes over the bracket and again bolting to the support. Does this sound right?
