I need taller rear spings for my Lemans...
Hey guys, I need to lift the back end of my Lemans and have heard about installing station wagon springs to raise the back end up. It currently sits lower in the rear after installing new springs about two years ago. I have changed wheel size from 14" to 15" and I no longer have the clearence I once did. Do you know if this will work?

yes, but so do cargo coils as well. what springs did you buy when you replaced them before.

I can't remember the brand, but I just went with stock 66' rear coils. It now sit with the rake towards the rear and I want to level it, or raise it up slightly.

retro, see this thread on rear springs for a picture of my car after I took out brand new stock-height springs from NAPA and installed station wagon springs from NAPA. I'm running 235/60R15 tires, and have LOTS of room in the rear. I could go with taller tires if I wanted to.

Station Wagon springs are not only taller but they have a high spring rate. They will raise the car but also make for a harsher ride.
You can get the right spring by calling Eaton Detroit Spring and tell them what your need is...taller than stock with same spring rate.
