Default 1965 GTO Bucket Seats

Did the 1965 GTO come with column shift and bucket seats without a console?

Appreciate any information.

That was the standard configuration if the car was an automatic and not ordered/built with the optional console.

Yes it could come like that. My first 65 GTO was an auto on the column with buckets, 2 door hardtop. I have PHS to prove it since most of the people where I live insisted that it was a lemans and not a GTO because of the auto on the column.
