headers for 1969
was there any way to order pontiac headers in 1969 for the gto?
something similar to hooker competition headers? probably not right? |

Kyle,
If you mean, did Pontiac offer an option of tube headers? No. Cast manifolds for GTO were the "HO" or "Ram Air" version. Firebird and "big car" got the "long branch" cast "headers". Both are better than cheap 3-tube headers, but none compare to good 4-tube "race" headers. Jim |

Summit has very nice and inexpensive headers that should fit your car. I ran alot of headers between the different pontiacs I have owned. For 100 dollars you can NOT beat the summit deal. They have extremely thick flanges ( even has a slot pre cut on the center bolt holes to make install a LITTLE easier!). Sure they are not the best but pretty damn good and I believe the best deal going for pontiac headers out there.
