His bashing of Ken Crocie bothers me also. Ken has helped me out alot over the years. In lieu of all the imput I've seen, I will be "on guard" in my dealings
with Mr. Fulper in the future. Who says you can't teach old dogs(or in this case,machinists,) new tricks.
Puddles and RAIV55, I couldn't agree with you more. If you're not comfortable building your own engines,DON'T! Think about this: the average human hair is
.003-.004 in diameter. A lot of clearances in performance engines are measured in tenths (.0001). In other words, 1/10 of 1/3 of a human hair!
It takes many years to gain the experience to be comfortable dealing with
these specs. I guess guys like me and Grandville455 take that for granted.
After all, we do it for a living.
