Dumb question, but here goes.....I'm installing spark plugs (AC Delco R45S) and I went to put the gasket onto the plug and noticed that one side of the gasket is larger than the other. Before I torque these down, which side of the gasket seals against the head? The plugs that came out were Champions and the gasket was the same on both sides, although one side seemed a little thicker than the other, so it was no help.
Thanks. |

Hey, Ron. Thanks for the reply. I wasn't sure but I thought that's how they were to be installed. Engine is finished, primed, and ready to put back in the car. It's driving me nuts not having it on the road yet, but August for sure. I have to finish painting the inner fenders and core support and putting on the front clip. That's it.
The dowels worked perfectly, by the way. Thanks! |

No problem Bob. Glad the dowels worked for you. I' m waiting to get mine on the road too. All I need is an exhaust system. Atleast that' s all I need to get it on the road.
