I took out a poor install of a T-5 in a 64 GTO that I recently bought and I am replacing the T-5 with the original M20. I had to buy a new tranny crossmember because the one with the T-5 was fabricated. Does the original crossmember mount on top of the frame, or underneath? It seems that it should mount on top.
Thanks in advance. |

Nothing wrong with drilling holes and bolting the crossmember in without the rubber insulators, I have 3 different '64 cars done both ways with no problems.
