Default Tranny fluid recommendations...

I know, it sounds silly but I'm almost ready to put the 455/400 in the 'vert and I was wondering if there's any hot new stuff for a fresh 400 Turbo. Also, I'm running a 11" BTE converter.

My dad heard that using the Type F would be good???

I'm planning on buying a case of Dexron II, so if there's anything better SPEAK UP!

Royal Purple? Heard lot of good thing's about them.
Max ATF. It’s synthetic.
Have not actually tried it jet. But they say it’s the best.

I race and run TCI RTF and 2 quarts of B&M trick shift. I have a deep pan and a trans cooler. Probably overkill but works good no slip cool running and shifts quick.

Is this stuff better for a 2000-2500 converter?
